If you're going to Hokkaido, it is recommended to try this.It's nice and the 5 flavours are totally different from what we eat normally.

Ah See Wantan Mee

Ah See Wantan Mee??? I'm from Batu Pahat and over here, if you ask any local Chinese, where can you get a nice plate of wantan mee, a whopping 10 out of 10 will recommend this shop to you.

As most of us would know, a normal plate of wantan mee consists of wantan, noodles, vege, sauce and of course, char siew.

As for me, this is the most delicious wantan mee I've ever had. I'm not exaggerating, but it seriously is. Every ingredient essential to make this perfect plate of wantan mee is handmade, from the noodles, to the wantan, and even the char siew.

The quality and taste of this plate of wantan mee is guaranteed satisfactory. Food, in general, needs a sauce to accompany it with, and if the sauce isn't nice, the food wouldn't taste nice too. The sauce of this wantan mee is quite special, as it is white in colour, which is a secret recipe inherited from the founder of the business, Ah See, to his grandson who is running it at present. This business has survived the course of time for almost 60 years. 60 years isn't short, and if it is still survivng, it just means it's THAT GOOD.
Nice food survived, we do know.

Nasi Lemak...

Ok, just to tell you people, I've been having this craving towards Nasi Lemak for a long time. As for those who do not know what Nasi Lemak is, well, let me try to give you a brief intro on what it is then.

Nasi Lemak, is a dish of some sort, that serves
~ rice cooked with coconut milk to give off that nice aroma
~ 'sambal' ( a blend of chilli's with other ingredients, depending on the chef )
~ cucumbers
~ 'ikan bilis' ( anchovies )
~ Egg ( boiled or sunny side-up )

Well, that is the usual Nasi Lemak we have everywhere. Besides that, there are also some who would love some extra's to go along with their Nasi Lemak.

Nasi Lemak is usually accompanied, with
~ Chicken/Beef/Mutton Rendang ( Rendang is something similar to curry, but cooked with coconut milk and is usually less spicy then curry )
~ Prawn/Squid/Cockles Sambal
~ Fried Chicken ( Simple, yet nice )
~ anything else which satisfies your tastebuds

So, for now, just wanna share with you, by far the best Nasi Lemak I had.

I recently went to Mid Valley Megamall, and was on the lookout for food. It was noon, every restaurant seem packed, but as I walked along the LG floor of The Gardens, my nose was attracted to this fantastic aroma, coming from this shop.

It has a nice decor, and there are wide arrays of Nyonya Kueh's there.

So, I said earlier bout this wonderful aroma pulling me into the shop, and I guessed it was the Nasi Lemak. I queue'd and and had my order taken. My Nasi Lemak came not long after, and boy oh boy, it smelled great.

Well, I had my crave for Nasi Lemak satisfied, and it's by far the best I've tasted. Besides that, my brother had Curry Noodles. It wasn't that bad, but the curry had this bright orange colour instead of the usual red. It tasted a bit too coconut-ish. The curry had too much coconut milk, but that's to me. We all have individual tastes. But to me, it wasn't that nice.

Hmmm, I think that's about it for now.

Ola amigo's to my good bloggie. Wee, monsieur's and madame's, this is a blog about the utmost gratitude I have towards food, which taste good of course. I do not wish to blog about food which taste bad, but they do deserve some publisity anyways.

Personally, i'm a food lover. I love food, food loves me too. I can guess judging by my size. And no, i'm not THAT fat. So, future posts would be definitely about food, food, and more food. Owh yea, the pictures here aren't for illustrations only, they're real, unlike the one's in our regular menu's. So, I'll try to make some input to the places and the price, if possible, no promises though.
